After graduating from the USAF Academy, Brian began his 20 year Air Force career flying two tours in the F-4 “Phantom”. As part of his two instructor assignments in the T-37B, he was the Chief Spin Pilot at Laughlin AFB, TX.  He also instructed in the TG-7A (motorized glider) and T-3A, and served as a mission pilot in the Hawaii Wing of the Civil Air Patrol while on a non-flying staff tour.  Upon retiring for the Air Force, Brian flew with FedEx Express for 22 years as a Flight Engineer on the DC-10, First Officer on the MD-11, and First Officer and Captain on the B-777.  Following his FedEx career, he spent two years in business aviation flying a Challenger 350 out of McClellan AFB.  Brian has over 13,000 hours of flying time, and specializes in aerobatic, spin, and upset recovery training.
