The Auburn Municipal Airport is nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains at 1,536 feet above mean sea level (MSL). Just on the outskirts of town, the airport enjoys a fairly mild Northern California climate. The airport has a 3,700 foot paved runway. Services include 100LL and Jet-A fuel. Getting to and from the Auburn Airport is easy from the ground and the air.
Driving from Sacramento: Interstate 80 East to Bell Road. Turn left and continue for about 2 miles to New Airport Road and turn right. Continue to Earhart Avenue and turn left, then your first right onto Rickenbacker Way. Mach 5 Aviation is located at the end of Rickenbacker on the left; “At the Flag Pole”.
Driving from Reno: Interstate 80 West to Bell Road. Turn right and continue as outlined above.
